Naba Basanta Old Age Home, Non-Profit Organization
Old Age Care has become a matter of grave concern for modern society. With the joint family structure disappearing and social mobility increasing, the appropriate care of old people is posing a serious social problem. In particular, educated upper middle class families, where children have to move out because of professional compulsions and on other reason are confronting the problem much more severely. In the changing social context of today, old people do suffer from isolation, loneliness, feelings of insecurity, deteriorating health conditions, inferiority complex, and a sense of despair. Hence, working out some concrete steps to address these problems and to ensure a dignified existence for old people in society is not only imperative but an absolute necessity.
Shree Shree Ramkrishna Samity has decided to establish an old age home “NABA BASANTA” under its ownership at Siliguri for this noble purpose.
Objective
The main objective of “NABA BASANTA”

The “NABA BASANTA” will run as a volunteer and non-profit institution.
